Day 1

My first day in Chile consisted mostly of sleeping with a birthday lunch of a Thiele family friend in the evening. The lunch was a very good, home cooked meal of Salmon, rice and potatoes. The oldest son of the family made this Bedouin flat bread which was reeeeeeally good especially when eaten with avocado and tomato. The had gotten a chocolate cake from a local bakery that had layers of manjar (Chilean caramel) between the layers of super moist chocolate cake. The rest of the night was spent trying not to pass out then giving up and going to sleep around 8. There are no pictures yet as my camera batteries are dead but they are charging and I will try to take as many pictures as possible.
